Here's your reminder to look back at how far you've come.

Maybe you did better than expected on a tough assignment, made a new friend, joined a club, spoke up more in class, or finally figured out something that just wasn’t clicking before.

Whatever your win looks like, be proud of it. Every little step counts! 🌟

Everyone needs a little extra help sometimes, and at CEC, asking for it is part of learning. Some subjects “click” right away; others take a little more time, and THAT’S OKAY!

CEC offers tutoring support to work through challenging concepts, ask questions, and build confidence in learning.

Whether you need help understanding a topic or simply want some extra support, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Keep learning. Keep asking. Keep moving forward.

From the CEC Aurora classroom to an opportunity in advanced manufacturing and aerospace.

CEC alum Daniel Pina Hernandez has been accepted into Lockheed Martin Space's Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program. His journey is a great example of what can happen when students have opportunities to explore their interests, build real-world skills, and start preparing for their future while they're still in high school.

Congratulations, Daniel!

We can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you.

The classes matter, but so do the moments in between.

Finding a club you love, meeting people who share your interests, trying something new, taking on a leadership role, and feeling like you're part of your school community - this is what a great school experience offers.

At CEC, students have opportunities to learn, connect, explore their interests, and make their high school experience their own. Because preparing for the future matters, and so does enjoying the journey there. 💛

Today, we remember Keith King, the founder and visionary behind Colorado Early Colleges.

In 2007, Keith's vision for an early college high school became a reality when Colorado Springs Early Colleges opened its doors. That vision eventually grew into the CEC network serving students across Colorado.

His belief was simple: students should have the opportunity to pursue growth, mastery, and success in school, college, and their chosen careers.
Today, CEC continues working to fulfill that vision.

Student-Centered. Innovation Ready. Future-Focused.

Today we celebrate Keith King Day and honor the vision of Keith King, whose belief in expanding educational opportunity helped create a legacy that continues to impact students across every Colorado Early Colleges campus.

For 20 years, students, families, educators, and alumni have benefited from a model that opens doors to college and career success while empowering students to reach their full potential. What began as a bold idea has grown into a thriving community dedicated to transforming lives through education.

As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we are grateful for Keith's vision, leadership, and commitment to creating opportunities for generations of Colorado students. Thank you, Keith, for helping thousands of students discover what's possible.

This year's plaque installment was at our Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins High School location.

The right support can change how a student sees what’s possible.

For Karen, patient teachers and step-by-step guidance helped her build confidence while learning English. Now, she’s looking ahead to interior design and earning college credits along the way.

At CEC, students are supported as individuals, encouraged to keep growing, and given real opportunities to start building their future before graduation.

That’s what student-centered learning looks like. 💛

CEC brings together high school, college, and career preparation, giving students opportunities to earn college credits, pursue credentials and explore career pathways while completing high school.

With campus-based, College Direct, online, and homeschool learning options, families can explore the pathway that fits their student's needs and goals.

Sometimes the classes and experiences that stay with you are the ones that change how you see the world.

For Madison at CEC Fort Collins, that means getting involved in Student Government, having a voice in ideas that can create real change, and taking humanities courses that have introduced her to new ways of thinking.

From philosophy to psychology and leadership beyond the classroom, she’s finding opportunities to understand herself, connect with others, and get involved in what matters to her.

Because a great high school experience prepares you for what comes next.
