All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Fentanyl is an extremely dangerous substance, and its presence in our community is something we take very seriously. What makes fentanyl especially concerning is that it can be mixed with other drugs without the person using those drugs even knowing it is there. Every time dangerous narcotics are taken off our streets, we are potentially preventing a tragedy and protecting another family from experiencing the devastating consequences of an overdose. Our officers will continue working to identify and investigate those who are bringing these dangerous substances into our community. At the same time, we recognize that behind every addiction is a person and a family, and we remain committed to doing our part to protect our community while supporting efforts that lead people toward recovery.
