Thank you to everyone who participated in the American Discovery Trail Relay. We truly enjoyed your visit to Peebles, Ohio. We hope you enjoyed your time here and will visit us again! Thank you to every single person and business for your participation in making this such a special event for our visitors. This event wouldn’t have been possible without you and your participation! Thank you everyone and we hope to see you enjoying the hiking trails throughout every Season.

We want to thank, again, the following folks and businesses who helped make today's American Discovery Trail 250 Relay a success. A friend of mine always reminds me that many hands make light work, and this could not be more true than what occurred today. Thank you all!!!! Peebles was a part of history today as those batons were carried through town carrying a signed copy of our Declaration of Independence, making their way from the California shore to the Delaware shore. Let Freedom Ring!!! 🇱🇷

REMINDER: American Discovery Trail Relay. Join our celebration by participating in it as it passes right through Peebles, along the Buckeye Trail. Together, we commemorate America’s past and shape our future.

Hikers will enter Peebles on the 29th, along Portsmouth Road, sometime in the evening, ending at Peebles First Stop. On the 30th, the route will start with a 9am celebratory welcome at the Peebles First Stop area, travel south on Main Street/SR 41 to Vine Street and then onto Marble Furnace Road. The celebratory parade will end at the west end of Simmons Avenue (at the junction with Marble Furnace Road) as hikers continue on through Marble Furnace, up through Sinking Spring, ending their day at Pike Lake.

All along Portsmouth Road, Main Street, Vine Street and Marble Furnace Road, we invite and encourage you to decorate your businesses, line the streets, decorate your homes, stand along the route and thank and encourage the participants.
