Peoria County Search & Rescue is a dedicated team of trained volunteers serving Peoria County and surrounding communities.

We assist with search and rescue operations, missing and endangered persons, evidence searches, and other emergency missions.

Thank you County Emergency Management Agency for hosting the Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) training event last weekend. Two new Peoria County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue volunteers completed the 16 hour training. Our Field Training Officers and Instructor assisted in the training of 12 students who are now ready to serve their communities in SAR activities. We are looking for additional volunteers if you are interested.
