Congratulations!
Hello! My name is Evelyn Elder, and I am excited to be a 2026 Dan Patch Top 10 Finalist. I am in eleventh grade and taking post-secondary classes at Central Lakes College working toward my AA degree. I have been consistently involved in 4-H for the past five years with my main focus being the horse project. I have been showing horses for the past five years and have had the amazing opportunity to lease, own, and show three different horses. Through all the experiences 4-H has to offer, I have learned a lot and have been pushed to grow in many ways. Over the last three years, I have really focused on learning, leadership, and service, and I have become more confident and comfortable in leadership roles. I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have been given and for the people who have supported and guided me throughout the years. They have all played a part in helping me become the person I am today. I look forward to continuing my leadership, learning, and service in the years to come.
