Democrat leadership needs to stop telling Republican leadership to "stand up to Trump". Do they not understand that this is what they want this statement assumes the Republicans are still sane and haven't been lying for the past hundred years. This gives them way too much credit and absolves the Democrats of any responsibility to beat them. The Republicans have jumped ship they're N**i fascists and they're all in on Trump's crazy bu****it.

The Trump regime's repeated attacks on immigrants (and "DEI," "wokeness," the trans community, and civil servants) have one clear purpose:

If we are angry at each other, we don't look up to see how big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains. They seek to divide us so they can become more powerful. They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

One of the unacknowledged advantages (or "silver linings," if you will) of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs if we stand together.
