🔥A Proud Milestone Earned🔥

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter Flukey and Firefighter Jackson on completing their first year with the Pleasantville Fire Department!

They officially earned the right to wear our department's Official "7" Helmet Front—a tradition that marks the hard work, commitment, and dedication it takes to become one of us.

This symbol isn't just a helmet front—it's a badge of honor forged through training, growth, and service to our community.

The members of Pleasantville Fire Fighters IAFF Local 2616 extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, and friends of Communications Officer Candis Bartell.

It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce the untimely passing of one of our own, Candis Bartell. Candis had been a Communications Officer with our agency since 2019. Previously she served with the Pleasantville Police Department's Communications Center. The void left behind by her passing is palpable for all that got to know, adore, and work alongside her. Candis was sweet, caring, and full of moxie. Candis proudly dedicated her heart and soul to the citizens of Egg Harbor Township, Pleasantville, Northfield, Linwood, Longport, and Somers Point, whether she was on or off duty. Candis will be deeply missed, but her compassion and benevolence will carry on through her co-workers, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Candis Bartell, Communications Officer 15991, we thank you for your honorable service, may you rest in peace.
