Rio Del Oro PTO ~ Supporting our community from the ground up! P T O is not just about fundraising. RIO DEL ORO is committed to seeing our children succeed.

Rio Del Oro P T O is a dedicated group of parents and teachers committed to bringing out the best in our students. By supporting their activities, education and families, we encourage our children and teach them valuable lessons on contributing to their communities and volunteer work and simply being good citizens. While we do have fundraisers, these events are for the sole purpose of supporting our school and adding to the school life environment by contributing towards a smart board, or a reading garden. It's about spending time with your children, showing interest in what they learn at school and being a part of it. It's about working with your child's teacher to help improve classroom experiences, and your child's education. PTO does not work without our parents and we are needed for simple things, even if it's spending an hour of your day reading to a class, sharing what you do, contributing with donations for events, working a book fair, creating a poster or participating in any small form. It's our job as parents to help support them. Be a part of these years, support your PTO board and teachers.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Harvest Festival! We hope all of our students, families, and community members had a wonderful time making memories, enjoying the festivities, and celebrating together!

As your PTO, we had so much fun planning, preparing, and bringing this event to life. Seeing everything come together and watching our school community enjoy the day made all the hard work worthwhile!

We also want to give a special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, donated items, helped with setup and cleanup, supported our activities, and contributed in any way to making this event possible. A special should out to our sponsors Rise Up Elevators, Hilbers Inc, My Boba Spot, and Marysville Kiwanis Club! We truly couldn’t have done it without you! It takes a village, and we are so grateful for our amazing school community.

Comment your favorite part about the festival and tag us in your pics! We would love to see them!

👻 Ghost your ex, not your kids’ school PTO!😂

The Rio Del Oro Harvest Festival is THIS FRIDAY, and we're making one last little plea to our amazing Bulldog families and the Plumas Lake community!

🎟️ Haven't bought your tickets yet?! Now's the time!! We have extended the turn in date to THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL!

🙋‍♀️ Have a little time to spare? We still need volunteers to help make the magic happen. Particularly with monitoring the inflatables for all the kids safety.

Every ticket purchased and every volunteer shift filled helps make this event possible for our kids. ❤️
