Author Aaron Reynolds visited Poquoson Elementary today and shared what it means to be an author. His energy is unmatched and the students really enjoyed him! Much thanks to our staff who helped bring this authentic experience to our students!

Poquoson Schools’ Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) partnered with New Horizons Center for Autism to host a sensory-sensitive Trunk or Treat, bringing students and families together for an evening of Halloween fun in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The well-attended event brought families together to connect, build relationships, and celebrate our students, reflecting our shared commitment to a welcoming and supportive school community.

We highly encourage you to join the Race for the Bulls this Saturday! The PEF is a huge community partner who directly supports our teachers, classrooms, and therefore students. We are grateful for their continued support!

Poquoson Primary welcomed author Aaron Reynolds who came to speak with each grade level. His enthusiasm was contagious and it afforded our students a great opportunity to meet a published author of books they love to read! Much thanks to our staff who helped make this possible!!
