Anything but a Backpack Day at Port Aransas High School was an absolute hit!

Our Marlins brought the ultimate creativity today, leaving their school bags at home and showing up with everything from microwave ovens and coolers to laundry baskets and rolling suitcases.

Which "backpack" alternative was your favorite? Drop your vote in the comments below!

Huge congratulations to both our PAHS Girls and Boys Cross Country teams for sweeping the Regional Championship titles! What an incredible performance and an amazing run for Port Aransas High School.

A special shoutout to our top individual finishers who showed incredible grit and determination:

🥇 Leah DePiper – 1st Place (Regional Champion!)
🥉 Autumn Lafayette – 3rd Place
🏅 Shane Stawar – 5th Place
🏅 Leo Martinez – 7th Place
🏅 Dylan Scaff – 9th Place

This is a massive achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of every single runner who gave it their all. Now, we carry our Legacy of Excellence to the State Meet on November 6th!

What an amazing first pep rally of the year! 🎉 We had a blast celebrating our incredible XC teams and kicking off the start of basketball season. A huge shoutout to cheer, Marty, the band, and all our athletes for doing a fantastic job! 📣🎺🏃‍♂️🏀

The energy was absolutely electric—our student body was so fired up, and it was wonderful having Brundrett Middle School students there to join in on the fun. Way to show that Marlin Pride!

This artwork, created by AP art student Emma Hofhiens, combines an oil pastel drawing with a painted canvas background. It is inspired by Fauvism, an art style from the early 1900s known for its bright, bold colors. The artwork shows the artist and her sister and expresses how much the artist loves and looks up to her sister.

Great day for the PAHS Marlins Band! Our students attended TAMUCC's Islander Band Student for a Day—experiencing college life through lectures, rehearsals, a recital, campus tours, and Q&A sessions with staff and students.
