Last week, the Ozaukee County Dementia Friendly Coalition hosted W**e, Women, and Dementia: The Documentary Event. 60 community members attended, including 7 individuals for onsite respite care so their caregivers could take part.

💝 Caregivers were treated to appetizers, refreshments, raffle prizes and centerpieces donated from local care communities 💝

💜 The beautiful and light-hearted film of the dementia journey left caregivers feeling validated and hopeful. Attendees shared it was: real, insightful, relatable, eye-opening and appreciated.
W**e, Women, and Dementia's message includes finding your community and many connections were made thanks to the support of Dementia Friendly Ozaukee County Coalition's organizations present to offer their supports and resources. 💜
