This past weekend, Fire Medic Company No. 1 participated in a large-scale Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) training hosted by USMMA EMS.

With over 70 first responders participating, this drill provided an opportunity to practice patient care, triage, communication, and coordination in a simulated mass casualty environment.

A big thank you to USMMA Emergency Services and everyone involved for putting together such a great hands-on training experience! 🚑🚨

25 years ago, our nation changed forever. On September 11, 2001, the Port Washington Fire Department answered the call, with our members and apparatus responding to Ground Zero.

Today, we remember the lives lost and honor our own members, including Robert Reese, Michael Pickering, and David Fenton, whose service at and following Ground Zero will never be forgotten.

25 years later, we remember. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
