More funding for your home improvements!

RCEC has increased the maximum loan amount for our Energy Efficiency Loan Program from $25,000 to $30,000!

Eligible members can finance qualifying energy efficiency home improvements with a 3% interest rate and repayment terms of up to 10 years.

Yesterday, our crew participated in aerial bucket rescue training led by Cade Standifer of OAEC. This hands-on training helps employees prepare to assist a coworker in an emergency while working in an elevated bucket.

We also tested our new self-rescue kits, giving employees an opportunity to become familiar with the equipment and practice using it.

Thank you, Cade, for your instruction and to our crew for their commitment to working safely. Training like this supports our most important goal: making sure everyone goes home safely.

Our hearts are with the family of the Farmers’ Electric Cooperative lineman who lost his life while restoring power after a recent storm.

The entire RCEC family extends its deepest condolences to his loved ones and to our neighbors at Farmers’ Electric. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Please be in prayer for the Farmers’ Electric Family and the family of a dear coworker. This morning, while restoring power from last night’s storm, a lineman tragically lost his life. The accident is still under investigation. Out of respect for his family, the lineman’s name will not be released at this time.

Today we remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the courage and unity shown by our nation on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we honor their memory and promise to never forget. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Paislee Williamson, the winner of our first-ever Lineman’s Challenge at the Roosevelt County Fair!

The Lineman’s Challenge was a new addition to our booth this year, giving kids a chance to put their skills to the test and get a small taste of what our linemen do. We had some great competition throughout the week, but Paislee recorded the fastest youth time of the entire fair!

For taking the top spot, Paislee received a Lineman’s Challenge prize pack full of RCEC gear and goodies.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and gave the challenge a try. We had a blast with this new addition and hope you did too!
