The City of Prairie Grove thanks everyone who donated, assisted, or provided a vehicle for last night's 2026 Trunk or Treat. Sometimes all you can say is "WOW!" We generally estimate around 3,000 participants, but last night was incredibly well received. Soft estimates suggest nearly 5,000 attended last night. We needed police to assist with parking and traffic details along Douglas St.
We opened the line at 4:30 and handed out candy with flashlights until nearly 8 pm.

We have already debriefed and are looking into faster service for next year so we can better serve our community. Last night was a great litmus test of how successful we can be. Successful events bring lessons learned along the way so we can provide a greater experience in the future. The best never rest.

Leadership changes the atmosphere, and this is what we are seeing in our city. Every community event continues to grow in popularity. We continue to lead community events in smaller cities because of the sponsorships, business leaders, and community leaders who have dedicated themselves to the Prairie Grove community.
