Through his personal story of survival, faith and resilience, Steigmann shared an important message about the strength of the human spirit and the responsibility we all have to remember the lessons of the Holocaust.

Deputy Mayor Lou Nisivoccia and Councilwoman Chris Carey joined the Historical Society of Old Randolph for the final Randolph Reminisces program of 2026 at the Randolph Township Library.

Guest speaker and railroad historian Bob Bahrs presented an engaging look back at the Lackawanna Rail Road in Randolph Township, featuring more than 100 vintage images that helped bring Randolph’s railroad history to life.

Bahrs also presented the Randolph Township Museum with a brick and mounting hardware salvaged from the former Lackawanna Rail Road building before it was demolished—an important piece of local history that can now be preserved for future generations.

Thank you to the Historical Society of Old Randolph, Bob Bahrs, and everyone who attended for helping celebrate and preserve the stories that connect our community!
