⚠ As a reminder - travel is becoming more hazardous in our High Country. Please remember that conditions on these four-wheel-drive roads are highly variable; weather at high elevations changes rapidly. You may encounter flooding, mud, snow and ice on our high country roads, and they will not be plowed again until next Spring. Please check weather conditions before you head out. Stuck or stranded vehicles may not be recoverable for some time – drive at your own risk. Be sure your vehicle is properly equipped in case of changes in weather and if you get stranded.

👀 There's snow on our mountain passes and peaks, with more to come! 🏔️ Take your time and adjust your speeds for slippery, slushy, and icy roads.

🤔 What's the scoop on the bridge at Corbett Creek? While our crew and communications department were busy on the Gold Mountain fire and flooding this summer, work was still going strong on the bridge project on CR-17. As the project nears its completion (likely in the next couple weeks!) we wanted to share some phots and video of the project progress. The first photos are from previous years, which remind us how this tranquil little creek can cause a lot of destruction. We're looking forward to the bridge's completion which will help keep this road more intact when flooding, allowing emergency crews and public travel in case of detours or evacuations. We'll keep you posted on the completion!
📣 Big shout out to Kuboske Construction Company, LLC who have been leading this project since the spring - fantastic work by all!
P.S. 🚧 The road and trailhead are still closed to the public (🚶🚴‍♀️🚙) - we thank you for your patience!
