UPCOMING EVENTS in Moreno Valley: On Saturday, October 11, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., join us for Free Dump Day at the Waste Management Transfer Station on Indian Street. Bring those bulky items that have been taking up too much space, and we’ll help to handle their disposal.
Then, on Saturday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., swing by the City Corporate Yard on Perris Boulevard for our Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Collection Event. It’s a safe and responsible way to get rid of old paint, batteries, chemicals, or outdated TVs and computers. Keeping these items out of landfills is a simple but powerful way we can help to protect our environment.
While you’re thinking about your yard, don’t forget that Moreno Valley residents also have access to free mulch through our weekday Mulch Program. Mulch is available Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Yard on Perris Boulevard. Just bring your own bags, buckets, and shovels, and take as much as you need. And yes, multiple trips are allowed. It’s a great way to give back to your garden while supporting the “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” philosophy that keeps Moreno Valley beautiful.
