King Tides are bringing higher-than-normal water levels to our low-lying areas, roadways, and waterways. We are currently in the middle of our October 24–30 tide window, with additional dates coming up in November!

Please keep these key safety tips in mind:

Watch for Flooded Roadways: Avoid driving through standing or flooded water—it's often deeper than it looks.

Secure Your Vessels: Make sure your boats are properly tied off, anchored, and ready for higher water levels.

Protect Your Property: Consider proactive flood mitigation options like sandbags and checking drainage areas.

🌴 Attention Riviera Beach residents, boaters, and visitors!

King Tides are higher-than-normal tides that can cause coastal flooding, even when there is no rain!

🌊 Flooding may affect low-lying neighborhoods, roadways, marinas, parking areas, and waterfront properties throughout Riviera Beach and Palm Beach County.

🚨 SAFETY FIRST!

🚗 WATCH FOR FLOODED ROADWAYS: Never drive through standing or flooded water. Turn around, don’t drown!

🚤 BOATERS, SECURE YOUR VESSELS: Check dock lines, anchors, fenders, and mooring equipment. Allow for rising water levels and changing tidal conditions.

🏠 PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY: Move valuables to higher ground, check drainage areas, and take precautions in flood-prone locations.

⚠️ STAY ALERT: Be cautious near seawalls, docks, boat ramps, and flooded sidewalks. Avoid walking through floodwater.

540 miles to answer the call. 🚨

Five Riviera Beach Police Officers were deployed to Milton, Florida, alongside partner agencies from Palm Beach County to support ongoing hurricane recovery efforts in the Panhandle.

Equipped to be fully self-sufficient for 5–7 days, our officers assisted with public safety and the Governor’s Protection Detail during the vital mission.

Florida stands strongest when we stand together. We’re incredibly proud of these officers for stepping up to support fellow Floridians in need! 💙
