James M Steele Early College High School

At Steele Early College High School, all of our students have a strong desire and academic focus to graduate with a Recommended or Distinguished diploma at a faster pace from this new, state-accredited high school. Steele students are highly motivated to put in the hours and effort required both during and outside the school day to keep pace with our accelerated schedule. All students will have opportunities to learn in a variety of ways, including traditional classrooms, web-based instruction, and dual credit opportunities through our partner community college. Along with the support of Northwest ISD, our parents, and our community through mentoring, internships, financial assistance, community service, and more, all of our students will truly graduate as college- or career-ready adults!

Stallions of the Month - October

Stallion of the Month is a school-wide recognition program that celebrates two standout students from each grade level every month. Advisory teachers select students who exemplify what it means to be a Steele Stallion. This spotlight's students who go above and beyond—whether through academics, behavior, leadership, kindness, or just general Stallion spirit. Each Stallion of the Month gets recognized on the Steele bulletin board, social media, certificate, coupon for the POD, and they get to select three items from the Stallion of the Month Cart.

Congratulations to our October Stallions of the Month!

Valerie Abai, Presley Low, Ava Dalesandro, Christopher Koehn, Lily Price, Garbriella Chea, Damian Garcia, and Janice Parsons!

Great Job! We are so proud of you! We Are Steele!
