Before you head out for an evening of tricks and treats, stop by the Fossil & Prairie Visitor Center for a Halloween surprise that's sure to ROCK! 👻🍬

Join volunteer Caitlin and discover the sparkling world of GEODES! ✨ These rocky treasures may look ordinary on the outside, but you never know what amazing crystals are hiding inside!

🪨 Caitlin collected the geodes near Keokuk, Iowa, during the Keokuk Geode Family Fest! Be sure to ask Caitlin about the event and learn more about these fascinating natural treasures!

🍁 BONUS: October 31 is also our FINAL day of the 2026 Visitor Center season! Come explore the exhibits, discover something new, and help us wrap up another great year before we close for the winter.
