What a day, Rockland! 🍂❤️
The Rockland Police Department would like to thank everyone who came out and made today’s Fall Fest such a tremendous success.
From a police standpoint, we always hope for the best but plan for the worst. Well, today, Rockland gave us the best!
With beautiful weather and thousands of people filling our streets, it was wonderful to see our community coming together, enjoying the day, and making memories. We are especially happy to report that the day went off without a hitch — no significant incidents, no medical emergencies, no lost children, and no disturbances. Just thousands of people having a great time in our town.
A huge thank you to Jeanne Blaney, Olivia McCormick, and the entire Rockland Recreation Department for all the time, effort, and energy they put into making this event happen. Events like this don’t just happen — they take an incredible amount of work behind the scenes.
We also want to recognize our amazing Rockland Highway Department. Their hard work before, during, and after the event is a huge part of what makes days like today possible. We appreciate everything you do for our community.
And a special thank you to Patrol Lieutenant Thomas MacDonald for putting together a seamless operational plan for our department. It was our pleasure to provide security and be a small part of such a great day.
Most importantly, thank you to the residents, families, businesses, vendors, and everyone who came out and supported Fall Fest. Days like today are a great reminder of what makes Rockland such a special community.
Nice job, Rockland! 👏
We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. We’ll see you next year! 🍁🎃
