NEW TC SPOTLIGHT EPISODE | Civility Across the Aisle!

What happens when Nash County's Democratic Party Chair and former Republican Party Chair sit down together? Not a debate, but a conversation about finding common ground!

This week on TC Spotlight, we're joined by Dr. Cassandra Conover: Democrat for NC House 2022(D) and Mark Edwards (R) as they come together through Urban Rural Action's Conservative Leadership for a United America program.

The two discuss the growing divide in politics, their personal experiences connecting with voters and why respectful, face-to-face conversations matter more than ever.

💬 "You can hate their ideas, but don't hate the person." — Mark Edwards

Despite their political differences, both share a common goal: encouraging understanding, respect and stronger relationships within our communities.

🗳️ And don't forget to make your voice heard! Early voting is underway in Nash and Edgecombe counties, with Election Day coming up on Tuesday, November 3. Regardless of where you stand politically, your participation matters!

🎧 Watch the full conversation and hear both perspectives!

It’s powerful seeing young people gather for a Word, build community, and get informed about the ballot and the importance of knowing who you’re voting for. 🗳️🔥

Faith. Community. Civic engagement. That’s how we move!
