Mrs. Guest and Mrs. Hardy’s classes made spider donuts today! 🕷️🍩 They practiced breaking pretzels for legs, squeezing icing to use as glue, and adding eyeballs to bring their creepy little creations to life. A little fine motor practice with a sweet reward at the end!

October in Ms. Bennett’s class 🎃

10/29/2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to sincerely apologize for a distressing incident that occurred this morning. An unauthorized person accessed our school’s digital board and displayed an inappropriate image.

The sign was turned off as soon as we were made aware. We have since determined that there was a breach in the external system of the company that runs our digital board. We also discovered that two other nearby businesses with the same digital boards experienced the same issue this morning. We treat the safety and well-being of our students with the utmost seriousness, and we deeply regret that you and your children were exposed to this content.

We continue working closely with the vendor, our IT security team, and local law enforcement to fully investigate the breach and implement stronger safeguards so this cannot happen again. Please reach out directly if you or your child need additional support today.

Sincerely,
Jamie Hammock, Principal
South Franklin Elementary School
