Daily rain chances are returning are returning across west central and southwest Florida, with showers and thunderstorms forecast to develop each day through the weekend. The highest rain chances will occur during the afternoon and early evening hours each day.

Showers and a few storms developing this afternoon will move west to northwest across the area before diminishing later this evening.

As humid air returns to the area through the rest of the week, rain chances will increase across the area with scattered showers and storms forecast for today, then storm coverage will become more numerous Thursday and Friday.
