Ms. Triplett’s second graders had a very fun time today preparing for Halloween! Students enjoyed decorating their pumpkins with paint and showed them off with their own big smiles! Music and art combined provided the perfect opportunity for students to show their personal creativity and design! Happy Halloween!🎃

Ms. Pape’s Pre-K class had three special visitors today! SPSD Board Vice President, Janet Nash, brought her beautiful, therapy dogs to visit the students and did they love it! They read books about dogs, learned how to kindly interact, and then shared a whole bunch of love by petting and holding them! These kinds of experiences help children to appreciate animals, show kindness and gentleness, and feel love given right back to them! Thank you, Mrs. Nash, for sharing your pups with us today! ❤️🐶❤️

Many thanks to the City of Saginaw Fire Department for helping our students know what to do in case of a fire in their homes. Third and fifth graders received hands-on experience in emergency responses to fires in the kitchen or bedroom. We feel confident that this instruction can save a life and we are grateful to the firefighters who visited AEA today! 👨‍🚒

Thank you, Ms. Triplett, for making learning fun and meaningful for our students!😊
