Minnesota has reached a historic milestone in effectively ending Veteran homelessness, but the work to sustain that progress continues!

From October 2025 through September 2026, MACV assisted 137 Veterans across southern Minnesota, including 35 in Olmsted County. Through housing assistance, employment services, legal aid, and strong community partnerships, we're helping Veterans build long-term stability.

Thank you to ABC 6 News - KAAL TV for highlighting MACV's work in southern Minnesota and featuring Southern Regional Director Sadie Rezac!

This week, we are featuring Ryan Folstad, MACV Intern!

As a MACV intern, Ryan is gaining experience across several departments to build a well-rounded understanding of the organization and our work to end Veteran homelessness. What stands out most to Ryan about MACV is the organization's holistic, person-centered approach to ending Veteran homelessness. He appreciates that the work extends beyond immediate housing needs to address the many factors that contribute to long-term stability.

Even Lenny got to be part of Minnesota history! 🐾💛

Our Veteran Village facility dog was right in the middle of the celebration as Minnesota announced that all 87 counties have now reached the effective end of Veteran homelessness. And he even got to meet the Governor!

It was especially meaningful to celebrate this milestone at Veteran Village, where Lenny plays an important role in helping Veterans feel safe, supported, and connected.

We're proud to have Lenny on the MACV team and to celebrate this incredible moment together!
