🚒🚔 Everyday Heroes at NME! ❤️🐾

Yesterday, we kicked off Red Ribbon Week by celebrating our everyday heroes! A special thank-you to our local fire department and sheriff’s department for taking time to visit with our Panthers.

We are thankful for your dedication to keeping our community safe and for being positive role models for our students. We appreciate all you do—yesterday and every
day!

A special shout-out to Mathew and Victoria for being so kind, patient, and professional with our students! We appreciate you both! ❤️🐾

Our Panthers are ready for a week of making healthy choices and celebrating a drug-free future! 🎗️

🎃🧡 A Day Full of Dancing, Giggles, and Learning in Mrs. Whitany’s room! 🧡🎃

Our primary students got to enjoy their very own Halloween Dance in the gym! There was lots of dancing, giggling, laughter, and memories being made! 💃🕺🎶

But the fun didn’t stop there! Back in our classroom, we got a little messy while learning! 🫧✏️ We used shaving cream to practice our phonemic awareness skills and review writing our new sight/heart words: WE, AND, GO, and TO! ❤️

Mrs. Whitany wants to give a little shout-out to Mrs. Hollie! 💕 We are SO happy to have her helping with us in our classroom! ❤️🍎

Mrs. Randi’s and Ms. Kiley’s kindergarten class had some spooky fun with a witches’ potion science experiment today!

Before making their potions, students predicted what color they thought their potion would be. Then they mixed their ingredients and watched as a bubbly reaction took place! 💀🧦

🎶🐾 Music Monday at NME! 🐾🎶

A big thank-you to Miss Erin-Grace Rudd, Miss Nelson County, for visiting North Magoffin Elementary and teaching our 3rd and 6th graders about rhythm! Our Panthers had so much fun using rhythm sticks and learning more about music. 🥁🎵

We loved welcoming a former Panther back to share her talents and love of music with our students! ❤️🖤
