Annual 1st Grade Fiesta Float Parade! 🎊 It’s always a joy seeing all the little smiles and giggles in the hallways.🤩 Such a wonderful time of year to celebrate culture and history in our community.🌎❤️

Over the last 21 days, our Pre-K classrooms have been a little quieter- and a lot more curious. We’ve been playing the waiting game with a dozen eggs, and the payoff has been absolutely “egg-straodinary” 🥚

We started by candling the eggs, where the students caught glimpses of tiny heartbeats and moving shadows. It was incredible to hear their theories on what was happening inside those shells! Finally, this week, the first tiny “pips” appeared. 🐣

We are now the proud host of 6 fluffy hatchlings. 🐥🐣Ask your little scientist about the new little chicks.

We are excited to invite all graduating seniors of the class of 2026 who attended Roan Forest Elementary to our annual Senior Walk celebration! This special event allows our former students to walk in the halls of Roan Forest in their cap and gown as our current students and staff cheer for them and celebrate their accomplishments.

📅 Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
⏰ Time: 7:30 – 8:30 AM
📍 Location: Roan Forest Elementary Library
🥐 Breakfast will be served!

We ask that all seniors wear their cap and gown, along with a college or spirit shirt of their choice. It’s a beautiful tradition that inspires our younger students and honors the achievements of our graduates.

To ensure space for everyone, we kindly ask that each graduate limit their guests to two people total.
