The San Benito Police Department stands besides our law enforcement partners from Cameron County as we mourn the loss of Cameron County Sheriff's Deputy Investigator Arturo Miranda who dedicated more than 22 years of service to the great citizens of Cameron County. Miranda, a San Benito native, was beloved by his peers and always lit up a room when he was present. The loss of Deputy Miranda leaves a great void in the local law enforcement community and he will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Sheriff Manuel Trevino, all members of the Cameron County Sheriff's Office and Deputy Miranda's family and loved ones as they navigate through this difficult time. May Deputy Miranda rest in eternal peace.
