🎀💗 Making Strides, Sharing Hope, and Walking Together! 💗🎀 What better way to wrap up Breast Cancer Awareness Month than with a sea of PINK and a whole lot of heart?! 💕

This past Saturday, members of our SCSO family, along with their loved ones, came together at Lake Eola for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk! 👟🎀Our members walked in support of those currently fighting breast cancer, celebrated survivors, and honored the loved ones we've lost.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who walked, donated, or supported our team along the way! Your generosity, encouragement, and willingness to come together for such an important cause mean so much. 💗

The walk may be over, but our support doesn't stop here! To our SCSO fighters and survivors, we see you, we celebrate you, and we stand beside you every step of the way. 💪🎀

Who says you can't spread a little Halloween magic while on patrol?! 🧡

This Halloween, our South Region deputies handed out candy while on their regular patrols, and shared smiles with trick-or-treaters throughout the community! 🍭👮‍♂️

Please join us in congratulating Detention Deputy Velabrina Campbell Cross on her well-deserved retirement after 27 incredible years of service with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office!

Throughout her career, Deputy Campbell Cross has served in several areas of the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, including Facility Operations, Administration, Intake/Release, and most recently, Transportation.

Known for her gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering dedication, Deputy Campbell Cross has made a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to work alongside her. Her colleagues describe her as hardworking, dependable, and incredibly generous. Over nearly three decades, she has built lasting friendships, earned the respect of her peers, and demonstrated what it means to serve others with humility, compassion, and heart 💚💚.

As she begins this exciting new chapter, she's looking forward to traveling, exploring new places, and making wonderful memories with her family. ✈️🌎❤️

Dispatcher Cheyenne Brough was named Dispatcher of the Quarter! In a relatively short time, she has distinguished herself through her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to handle challenging, high-priority calls. Her positive attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn make her a valuable member of the team.

Communications Specialist Jada Leaf was named Employee of the Quarter! Known for her strong work ethic and willingness to help others, Jada plays an important role in supporting her colleagues and mentoring new employees. As a Certified Training Officer and active member of the Employee Engagement Committee, she also helps foster a positive and supportive work environment.

Join the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation on Wednesday, October 28, at Seminole State College for an evening of Halloween fun, community spirit, and safe trick-or-treating for the whole family!
