We recently drew for our first ever coloring contest winner! Congratulations to Joanne Copeland, and thank you to everyone who submitted their wonderful works of art.

Even if you missed out on entering this drawing, you can still enter the next one. Coloring sheets can be picked up and dropped off at our office at 307 Shelton Beach Rd for a chance to win a $10 gift card to a Saraland business. Keep an eye out for a new fall coloring sheet coming soon!

This fall, keep some common frights at bay with these simple prevention techniques:

1. Fix dripping faucets and running toilets
2. Keep grease and cooking oils out of your drains
3. Only flush toilet paper
5. Watch for leaks under sinks and around appliances

Happy Halloween!

Sediment can build up over time, affecting your water heater’s performance and often causing discolored water. Flushing every six months to a year can help keep things running smoothly.

Check your manufacturer’s recommendations and make water heater maintenance part of your home-care routine.

As temperatures cool and days get shorter, your lawn and landscaping may not need as much water as they did during the summer.

Before running your irrigation system, check the forecast and see if recent rainfall has already done the job.

Ever wonder how we know how much water your household uses?

Your water meter measures the water flowing into your home and records your usage throughout the billing cycle. It can also help you keep track of your household’s water use and spot unexpected changes.

Next time you pass your meter, take a look! You might be surprised by how much it can tell you about your water use.
