Notice of Road Closure

Where: Cline Ave., south side of US 30

Purpose: Road Improvements

Starting Monday October 19, 2026 through Friday November 20, 2026, Cline Avenue, south of US 30, will be closed to all southbound traffic coming from the US 30 intersection. Additionally, the left turn lane for westbound US 30 to northbound Cline Avenue will also be closed. The eastbound right-turn lane on US 30 will be closed as well as US 30 approaches Cline Avenue.

All roadwork is weather dependent.

All traffic is encouraged to plan ahead in using alternate roadways to avoid the work zone and closure areas whenever possible.

Today, members of the Schererville Police Department stood with the St. John Police Department to honor and say goodbye to K9 Raider.

For more than six years, Raider faithfully served alongside his handler, Cpl. Olson, assisting officers and leaving a lasting impact on both departments. Raider assisted the Schererville Police Department numerous times, and his courage, dedication, and loyalty will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Raider. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Your watch is over, but your legacy will live on forever. 💙🐾
