We had the pleasure of hosting our local elementary students for Fire Prevention this past week. We loved getting to talk about the importance of pre-planning and fire safety.

This year, we focused on knowing two ways out of every room and having a set meeting point outside your home in case of an emergency. The students had great questions!

Thank you to our partners at Schroon Lake EMS for volunteering their time to help make it a successful day (and for the photos 📷).

The Schroon Lake Farmer's Market has been our most successful recruitment event 2 years in a row. Here is Adam Lange, a recruit from last summer's market, recruiting new members today.

Yesterday evening we responded to a call for what appeared to be an abandoned kayak. Thank you to the Word of Life Island staff for their assistance!

Luckily no one was in danger, as it appears to just have floated away from shore with the high waters. If you find that you are missing your kayak as you begin to open your waterfront for the season, please message us to see if it's a match.

We hope you all have a wonderful mud season 🌦️🌼
