Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation Board President Kevin Gabbard announced the organization established the Jim Plump Legacy Endowment at the Community Foundation of Jackson County during the organization's annual Reports, Reviews and Rewards Luncheon today.

The fund honors outgoing director Jim Plump and will pay an annual grant to the organization for travel and training expenses. Plump will retire November 2 after 42 years leading JCIDC.

The Foundation congratulates Plump — a former board member — on a successful career and wishes him the best in retirement.

Donors may contribute to the fund by cash, check or online.
