💜 6 YEARS OF MAKING A DIFFERENCE! 💜

For the 6th consecutive year, the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office is bringing our community together through the Purple Box Project, an initiative that provides essential items to survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Leone Fitzgerald, Director of Victim Assistance, and Britney Green, Chief of Domestic Violence Prosecution, both with the Caddo DA’s Office, appeared on KTAL NBC 6 and Fox 33 to share the importance of this project and remind our community that there is still time to give!

At the Caddo DA’s Office, our responsibility to seek justice doesn’t end inside the courtroom doors. It extends into our neighborhoods, our homes, and the lives of the people we serve.

And serving the needs of justice means serving the needs of survivors.

Something as simple as a box of diapers, new socks, or a stick of deodorant can make a tremendous difference for someone who’s rebuilding their life after domestic violence.

That’s what the Purple Box Project is all about. It’s our community coming together to remind survivors that they are seen, supported, and not forgotten.

💜 The Purple Box Project continues through November 16!

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP!

We invite churches, businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to join us!

📦 Fill a box or bag (purple or not!) with essential items such as hygiene products, socks, underwear, diapers, and baby wipes.
📍 Drop off your donations at the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office, 525 Marshall Street, Shreveport.
🚗 Need us to pick up your donations? Call 318-588-0084 to arrange a pickup.
📞 Have questions? Call 318-588-0084 for more information.

Whether you’re a business collecting donations from your clients, a church rallying its congregation, or an individual who simply wants to help, there’s a place for you in this project!

Every donation matters. Every act of kindness counts.

Thank you to KTAL NBC 6 and Fox 33 for helping us spread the word, and thank you to everyone who continues to support this important initiative.
