The Shrewsbury Public Works Department performs residential street sweeping on the first Monday of January, April, July and October, weather permitting, with additional sweeping scheduled as needed.

The sweeping process will start in Zone 1, and may take up to 3 days to complete all 3 zones. We ask our residents to please DO NOT put any residential leaves or debris at the curb line; our street sweeper will go around them. When sweeping is scheduled, move cars off the road and onto driveways if possible. Avoid parking close to dead ends, in cul-de-sacs, in front of sewer inlets, or directly across from other vehicles.
