The Gospel Mission

A big thank you to the students from Siouxland Christian School for spending part of their day serving at The Gospel Mission!

These students helped rake leaves at our women's shelter, picked up litter around our campus, and served at our Thrift Store. Their hard work helped care for our facilities and created a welcoming environment for the guests we serve every day.

Thank you for making a difference and demonstrating Christ's love through service.

Thank you, PREMIER Bankcard, for your continued support of The Gospel Mission!

Last week, their volunteer team served lunch in our kitchen and also spent time helping at our Thrift Store. We are especially grateful for their faithful commitment to serving lunch each month, a partnership that has become a tremendous blessing to our ministry.

Thank you, PREMIER Bankcard, for being such a valued partner in our mission to feed the hungry, clothe the poor, shelter the homeless, and lead them to Christ.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism for volunteering with us last week!

Their team spent time serving at our Thrift Store and helping serve our evening meal to guests. Their willingness to jump in wherever help was needed was such a blessing.

As current Chamber members, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to work alongside organizations that care deeply about making our community stronger. Thank you for your partnership, your service, and your support of the mission God has given us.

Every meal begins with neighbors helping neighbors. ❤

We're gathering food items to prepare our Thanksgiving meal to those we serve through our kitchen ministry. Your generosity helps provide more than a holiday meal. It offers hope, encouragement, and a reminder that no one walks alone.

If you'd like to help, please consider donating items from our Thanksgiving needs list. Donations can be dropped off Monday - Saturday. Give us a call before you arrive and someone from our staff will meet you at the back kitchen door.

Thank you for partnering with us to care for our community this Thanksgiving season. 🦃🍂

🏕️ What would it be like to spend just one night without a place to call home?

For many in our community, homelessness isn't a one-night event. It's a daily reality filled with uncertainty, hardship, and difficult choices.

That's why The Gospel Mission is proud to support the Siouxland Sleep-Out, a community event that raises awareness and funding for those experiencing homelessness in Siouxland.

Join us as we stand with our neighbors in need and work together to bring hope, compassion, and practical help to those facing homelessness.

Whether you choose to sleep out, make a donation, or simply attend the event, your involvement helps shine a light on an issue that affects individuals and families right here in our community.

💙 Together, we can make a difference.

Learn more, register or donate at SiouxlandSleepOut.com.

Don't forget the Siouxland Sleep Out is almost here!! Join us to raise awareness and raise money for the homeless in the Siouxland Area.

We serve neighbors facing homelessness and hardship in Siouxland every day of the year with hot meals, safe beds across our two shelters, and the good news that every life matters to God. When our community members are secure and at peace, it strengthens all that we do. And that community includes you.

This week is National Estate Planning Awareness Week, an annual reminder to step back and make sure your future is protected. Estate planning can feel like a big task, but through our partnership with FreeWill, you can get started on your plans with ease.

Thank you for taking steps to care for your loved ones and your future while helping The Gospel Mission continue providing shelter, meals, and hope to those in need across Siouxland.
