KINECTIC FIBER PROJECT UPDATE: Kinetic has obtained a Right of Permit from the City of Solon to install fiber network throughout the city. We understand the may cause disruptions in your neighborhood and we are committed to working with Kinetic to address any concerns.

Please see the following statement from Kinetic about their project:

Kinetic is expanding its fiber network in Solon, bringing more residents the opportunity to access multigig fiber internet that is fast, reliable internet for work, education, business, and everyday life.

Construction is underway and is expected to be completed this winter, weather permitting. Crews will work in public rights-of-way and utility easements, possibly including areas on or near private property. They may need access to parts of residents’ property, but they will not enter homes. We’ll work to minimize disruption and restore areas affected by construction.

Residents may see colored paint or flags marking buried utilities. These markings help protect underground infrastructure and should not be removed and are critical to safety throughout the project.

We appreciate the community’s partnership and residents’ patience as we build this infrastructure for Solon. For questions or to report a construction concern, please call 319.320.8886.
