The first workshop of the Winter Workshop Series!

Our first workshop of the Winter Workshop series is coming up on Thursday, December 3 at 10:30am. This workshop will feature Endy Lopes Kailer helping us to understand Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and its function is our soils. Endy is a PhD candidate at Kansas State University(KSU) and her advisor Dr Charles Rice Distinguished Professor in Soil Microbiology at KSU will come to us and share a wealth of knowledge that Endy had learned over her past five years of study. Join us at 10:30 on the 3rd at the Pleasantview Activity Center(PAC) for a great workshop followed by lunch. The PAC is located at 5015 South Dean Road, Hutchinson 67501.
That's Thursday, December 3 at 10:30am.
This workshop is sponsored by Katie Gilkey Agent for Farm Bureau Financial Services, the City of Wichita, KS WRAPS & the Cheney Lake Watershed.

On Wednesday, May 6, we educated over 250 5th graders about soil health to increase infiltration and minimize erosion. The Reno County Conservation District partnered with the Cheney Lake Watershed for this activity. It was a great day of learning for all!
