Things at RMH that just make sense. 🏡❤️

A warm meal after a long day at the hospital. A snack when you need one. A place for siblings to play, laundry to get done, and a comfortable bed to come back to at the end of the day.

From our free hospital shuttle to the little comforts throughout the House, every detail is meant to make days a little easier for families navigating their child's medical journey.

It's more than a place to stay. It's a community that helps make the hard days a little easier. 💛

🎃 Halloween 2026 was a success! 👻

With Halloween behind us and November already here, we wanted to look back on some of the fun and festive celebrations that took place at Ronald McDonald House Inland Northwest! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Spokane Rotary North and McConkle for putting together such a special Halloween dinner for our families! 🍽️ From the creative Halloween-themed food to the festive decorations, they made the evening one to remember. The food looked so delicious that we had three families lined up and ready to eat before dinner even began! Before we knew it, more than 10 families had joined in to enjoy the meal together.

We also want to thank all of our amazing volunteers who helped decorate the House and prepare for our Fall Fun Fair! From setting the scene to helping bring the festivities to life, your time and creativity helped make the House feel extra special for our families. 🧡

We’re so grateful for a community that continues to show up and create moments of fun, connection, and joy for the families staying with us. Thank you for making Halloween at Ronald McDonald House Inland Northwest so special! 🏡❤️

After 101 nights at RMHC INW, Ivan and his mom, Paulina, are heading home to Mexico! ❤️🏡

During their stay, Ivan received orthopedic surgery at Shriners, and Ronald McDonald House Inland Northwest became a home away from home while he focused on healing. Throughout their time with us, Ivan and Paulina connected with other Spanish-speaking families, formed friendships, and found a community of support along the way. 🫶

They were even able to welcome Ivan’s dad and little brother for a few visits, making special family moments possible despite the distance. 🥹❤️

Stories like Ivan’s remind us that RMHC is about more than a place to stay. It’s about bringing families together, building connections, and making sure no family has to navigate a difficult time alone.

We’re so grateful to have been part of Ivan and Paulina’s journey, and we’re wishing them all the best as they return home! 💛

🏡❤️ Wishlist Wednesday!

A well-stocked kitchen helps make our House feel like home! This week, we’re looking for kitchen essentials like dish soap, kitchen towels, washcloths, aluminum foil, and Ziploc bags. 🧽🍽️

These everyday items help our families prepare meals, clean up, and feel a little more at home while they focus on what matters most, being close to their child.

🍂🎃 Fall Fun Fair 2026! 🎃🍂

Our Fall Fun Fair was full of fall fun, smiles, and special memories! ❤️ We were so create a night of fun and connection for the 14 families that joined us last Thursday🏡🫶

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event possible! Shoutout to Busy Bee Jumpers for a free bouncy house, Shriners Face Painters, our Teen Board, Thursday volunteers, Get Nailed by Kassandra, and Southwest Airlines for showing up for our families and helping make the day extra special. 💛

It takes a whole community to create these moments, and we’re so grateful for everyone who helped bring a little extra fall magic to our House!

Thank you for helping us make memories, bring families together, and make RMHC feel like home. 🍁❤️

❤️🏡 It's Mission Moment Monday!

A big THANK YOU to the AG West team for showing up for our families and spending three days volunteering at Ronald McDonald House Inland Northwest last week! 🫶

Throughout the week, their team helped prepare grab-and-go sandwiches and delicious McChicken sandwiches for our families, cook lunch, clean around the House, take out garbage, and tackle other much-needed tasks. They even brought donations of ham and paper towels to help keep our House stocked! ❤️

We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and care they poured into making our House feel like home. It’s the little things, from a meal ready to go to a freshly cleaned space, that make a big difference for the families staying with us.

Thank you, AG West, for continuing to show up for our families and helping us keep families close when they need it most! 💛

When her family needed support, they found a welcoming place to stay close to care and a community that understood the challenges they were facing.

Now, she's giving back by volunteering at Ronald McDonald House Australia, supporting families on their own medical journeys and helping them feel seen, supported and less alone!

Baby Tyreik is heading home to College Place, WA! ❤️

Born at 37 weeks, Tyreik spent time in the NICU getting stronger and preparing for home. During that time, Mom Hanan stayed at RMHC INW for 28 nights, while Dad Mason traveled back and forth to be with his new little family while continuing to work.

Hanan also had plenty of love and support from her family, including her nine brothers, who came to visit throughout her stay to make sure she and Tyreik felt supported every step of the way!

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why families staying close matters. Behind every stay is a family doing everything they can to be there for their child, and a community helping make that possible. We’re so grateful to be a home-away-from-home for families like Tyreik’s while they focus on what matters most.

We’re wishing Tyreik and his family all the best as they begin this next chapter together at home! 🏡❤️

It's Mission Moment Monday, and we want to give a special THANK YOU to Hillis/McDonald’s Wenatchee ! ❤️🍟

Managers from different North Central McDonald’s locations drove all the way from Wenatchee to prepare a delicious dinner for our families! 🍝🥗

From spaghetti and meatballs to garlic bread, a fresh salad bar, crumb cake, and fruit skewers, everything was made with love!

Thank you for going the extra mile to bring comfort and smiles to our families! 🏠

Today marks the anniversary of the opening of the first Ronald McDonald House, and one year since we introduced our modernized brand alongside our Family Stays platform.

Over the last year, Chapters around the world have brought our new brand to life, all while celebrating the families at the heart of our mission.

When a child is ill or injured, family isn’t just there for a visit. They stay for the long haul. Ronald McDonald House makes it stay that way.

This year's team includes healthcare professionals, Chapter staff, volunteers, corporate partners, and passionate supporters from communities around the world.

Different experiences brought them to the starting line, but together they're helping more families access the care, resources, and support they need throughout their child's healthcare journey.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor the children and families whose lives have been changed by cancer and to recognize all that families navigate throughout their treatment.

Cancer treatment can mean long drives, extended stays, countless appointments, and time away from home. Through it all, families should be able to focus on what matters most: caring for their child and being together.

At Ronald McDonald House, we’re honored to help families stay close to the care their child needs while finding comfort, community, and a sense of home – this September and every day. ❤️

As we recognize this September, we're thinking of the NICU families supported by Ronald McDonald House programs around the world ❤️

Families like baby Grayson's.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Jeremy, Jessica, and their three children stayed at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta for over 60 nights while their son participated in a feeding therapy program nearby.

At Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay, Inc., Olivia and her team helped families get back-to-school ready with fresh haircuts. We're grateful to community members like Olivia who give back in meaningful ways, helping families feel supported and experience moments of normalcy during challenging times.

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
