We are so proud of our team at Jones PREP!

Ms. Blackston and her Mom, from Don Tyson School of Innovation, shared a beautiful reminder to “Show grace, bring joy, and see the whole child!”

What a gift it is for our students to be surrounded by passionate educators who not only love what they do but also carry on such a special legacy of educators in Springdale!

We are grateful for the hearts, dedication, and generations of educators who continue to make a difference in the lives of students!

Today, our Jones PREP Academy team is learning alongside Arkansas AWARE as we explore PRIDE Skills, based on Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

PRIDE Skills focus on five powerful ways to strengthen relationships and encourage positive behaviors: Praise, Reflection, Imitation, Description, and Enjoyment.

Through intentional praise, active listening, positive modeling, describing what we see, and sharing moments of joy, we can build stronger connections with our students and create classrooms where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.

At Jones PREP, we believe that when we invest in our staff, we invest in our students! We are grateful for opportunities to learn together, grow together, and continue making a difference in the lives of our Aviators.

Sometimes our classroom commitments come to life in the simplest, most beautiful ways.

Yesterday, as the rain poured down, two of our Aviators reminded us what it means to “Stick Together” and "Be Gentle and Kind.”

One umbrella. Two students. A simple act of kindness.

At Jones PREP, we're not just teaching academics. We're teaching our students to look out for one another, show compassion, and recognize when someone needs a helping hand.

One of our Jones PREP Aviators took his curiosity on the road tonight with a family adventure to the Scott Family Amazeum!

From creating in the Maker Space to exploring how tornadoes form through a weather simulator and discovering how light interacts with prisms, this young scientist was busy exploring, experimenting, and learning!

We LOVE seeing our students take their curiosity beyond the classroom and discover the world around them! A huge THANK YOU to his family for sharing these special moments with us.

At Jones PREP, learning takes flight everywhere!

Learning is always growing at Jones PREP Academy!

Our students headed outside for an on-site field observation to explore the structures of trees—roots, trunks, branches, and leaves—and discover how each part helps a tree adapt to its environment, gather nutrients, and grow.

And the best surprise of all? A beautiful hawk making its home in the very tree we were studying! What an incredible reminder that there’s so much to discover when we take our learning outdoors!
