Dave here, owner of The Old Trading Post! I grew up in Montana, and I owned my first bakery there. When we moved to Missouri, it's been my dream to open another shop. I love early mornings and a good cup of coffee. Excited to be carrying Course Coffee Roasters!
Before Photo. My favorite thing about The Old Trading Post has been the opportunity to revitalize this historic building in the spirit of what it was in 1852 - a Trading Post. St. Charles and all of the community members I have met along the way have been extraordinary. Discover St. Charles, Missouri
Step back to the early 1900's to meet Miss Lemonn, one of the owners of the Old Trading Post during its dairy and ice-cream years. A big thank you to the historical society for the historic photos we have around the shop! St Charles County Historical Society
One after-photo: a sun filled spot to have a morning coffee on the Plank Road. Stop by to explore the rest!
One of the most unique aspects of The Old Trading Post is its connection to Driftwood Music You can grab a bite while getting your guitar fixed, and stay tuned for the live music events we have planned!
My favorite bakery item? My wife says my sausage cheddar rolls are crave worthy on their own or served up as a breakfast sandwich. My kids love to order up Nutella & banana crepes for breakfast.
As for my favorite item on the menu? You can count on me to offer you a b**r with lunch and during special evening events!
