MOPC is all in for North City! Last year, we joined Action STL and For the Culture in the People's Response. We helped manage the donation center in O'Fallon Park, we knocked on doors to get deliveries to families, and we helped people get in contact with critical resources. We've done more than the city has ever done for North St. Louis. We were proud to be on the steps of City Hall today protesting this administration's failure to help its citizens and disgusting lack of empathy for those who've lost everything. This is what we mean when we say "we do the work" and we will keep showing up St. Louis every 👏🏾damn 👏🏾time 👏🏾.

Our associate Mackenzie dropped by Teamsters Local 688 to bring some chalk and coloring pages to Justin and his mom. Having grown up in a pro-labor family, Mackenzie knows how important it is to see your parents standing in solidarity with their coworkers and demanding fair treatment. Shoutout to her for building up the next generation of union families!

Baby's first strike! Happy to join in their fight for fair wages and a better contract. When worker's rights are under attack what do we do? Well, in Bailey's case we sit in our stroller and FIGHT BACK!

Last week we wrapped up our Spring internship. These young ladies came to us from across the country because they care about making a difference in the world. Hannah, Nia, Rosary, Hailey, Emily, and Kylie have been a delight to get to know and to have on the team. Thank you all and best of luck on your new adventures!
If you want to join our team, we're hiring canvassers and fellows for the summer/fall cycle. Apply at the link in bio!

We can’t think of anyone more deserving!
The St. Louis County Democrats are proud to recognize Denise Lieberman as this year’s recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award for Service to Party at our 45th Annual Democratic Gala.
The Thomas Jefferson Award honors someone who embodies service to the Democratic party — not for recognition, but because they believe in what we are building.
Denise Lieberman has spent more than 25 years fighting to ensure every Missourian can vote. She is the Director and General Counsel of the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition, a professor of law and political science at Washington University, and has testified before Congress in support of the Voting Rights Act. She has litigated voting rights cases across the country, co-chaired the Don't Shoot Coalition after Ferguson, and in a moment when the right to vote is under attack in Missouri and beyond — her work has never mattered more.
Please join us in congratulating Denise Lieberman!
