Hope to see You TONIGHT, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at The New Brighton Civic/N.B.C.C. Inc. General Membership Public Meeting, beginning at 7 pm, at Christ Church New Brighton Auditorium Hall! Join us with Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden President & CEO, Ms. Jessica Baker Vodoor and information about construction getting underway impacting traffic patterns and general updates including about upcoming spring and summer events and activities at the site, as well as Earthjustice Northeast Office, Community Partnerships Program Attorney, Mr. Colin Parts, about The Earthjustice Northeast Office and a push for air pollution reductions as New Jersey considers a renewal permit for The Bayonne Energy Center power plant, directly adjacent to our North Shore communities, and also Community Agency for Senior Citizens/CASC Inc., representative Mr. Paul Tallaksen, providing information about this organization and their free and confidential social services for older adults, funded by New York City and State, including at New Brighton’s own beloved Cassidy Coles Older Adult Center & More. There will also be our Regular Standing Committees General Reports/Updates/Discussions on: Environment, Land Use, and Public & Private Services, Public Safety & Police Relations, Recreation, Parks & Youth Affairs, Social, Benevolence, & Membership, as well as Upcoming Special Events& Projects, Programming, & Fundraising Plans, Opportunities, and More!
