The Erath County Sheriff’s Office was proud to participate alongside Cross Timbers Family Services in the kickoff of the Moola Wears Purple event at the Erath County Courthouse. 💜

Cross Timbers Family Services provides support, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are reminded of the importance of standing with survivors, raising awareness, and letting our community know that help is available.

Together, we can help break the cycle. đź’ś

The scammers are at it again, folks. It’s the same old tune: they tell you they’re a Deputy with the Sheriffs office and say you have a warrant for your arrest for missing jury duty. Then they demand money.
THIS IS A SCAM. The Erath County Sheriffs Office will NEVER call you asking for money, no matter what the reason. (And we don’t issue warrants for missing jury duty either.)

🔬 National Forensic Science Week 🔬

This week, we recognize the Crime Scene Technicians, forensic professionals, and everyone responsible for locating, documenting, collecting, and preserving evidence. Their attention to detail can turn a small piece of evidence into a critical lead and help ensure cases are built on facts.

Thank you to those working behind the scenes to protect the integrity of every investigation. Your work matters, your precision matters, and the evidence you preserve can make all the difference. 🖤💛

Happy National Police Women Day! 💙🩷

Today we recognize the incredible women of the Erath County Sheriff’s Office who serve with strength, courage, compassion, and dedication. Some finish their shift only to clock right back in at home as moms—continuing to protect, lead, and love.

To all of our women in blue: your strength inspires, your sacrifices matter, and your service makes a difference. 💙🩷

Strong women. Strong agency. Strong community.

This morning, first responders from across our community came together for a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

With every step, we honored the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders and innocent lives lost on September 11th, 2001.

In a small community, we know the importance of showing up for one another. Today, we showed up to remember those who answered the call 25 years ago.

Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

A special thanks to Stephenville ISD for allowing the usage of Mike Copeland Field at Art Briles Stadium and to Stephenville PD for helping organize the event.
