Reminder:

10/18/2026

Police officers and firefighters share a bond built on courage, sacrifice, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our community.

When the call comes, we answer together. When one of us is lost, we remember together.

We honor the firefighters who came before us, their years of dedicated service, and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

We’re looking forward to our 13th year of Holiday Window Painting for Sunbury businesses! ❄️

🎨 Additional Volunteers Needed!

This community tradition has grown so much over the years, and while we have an amazing group of talented outliners and painters, we need a few additional helping hands behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

🧹 Cleaning and preparing windows
🎨 Preparing paints and brushes
🪣 Washing and organizing container setups
🚗 Transporting paints and supplies
🎨Helping with paint cleanup
🖌️outliners to help finish windows after painting groups complete their designs

Behind-the-scenes volunteers would generally help approximately one hour before and one hour after each painting group.

Last year, we had 180+ painters volunteer their time and talents, creating beautiful holiday artwork across 75 Sunbury businesses and approximately 260 windows! 🎨❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the generous donations of supplies from Sunbury's Revitalization Inc. and the continued support of the The City of Sunbury, PA

We’re also excited to share that Nextgen Power Wash LLC is donating their time again this year to wash all of the painted windows after the holiday season! ❤️

And we are so thankful for the talents of Shikellamy Elementary Art teacher and several local artists, who will be helping with the window outlines and drawings ❤️

📅 Outliners will begin the second weekend of November.
🎨 Painting groups and individuals will begin shortly afterward and continue through the first week of December.

If you’re able to lend a hand — even for a few hours — please reach out as soon as possible so we can coordinate volunteers and make sure we have the help needed to continue this special holiday tradition.
If your interested again this year please reach out!

It truly takes a community to make this happen, and we are so grateful for every person who gives their time, talent, or support. ❤️

Let’s get Sunbury ready this holiday season! 🎄✨🎨
