🌟 National School Psychologist Week! 🌟

This week, we’re giving a special shout-out to our very own Mrs. Gina Waananen.

Gina has been a valued member of the Swartz Creek Community Schools family for more than two decades, making a difference in the lives of countless students and families along the way.

From supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional needs to collaborating with teachers, staff, and families, Gina plays an important role in helping our Dragons succeed.

Her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our students make her an incredible asset to our district.

Please join us in thanking Gina for all she does for our Swartz Creek Dragons! 🐉

💛 LET’S TURN SWARTZ CREEK YELLOW FOR ZACH! 💛

Zach Chittle is a 15-year-old Swartz Creek High School student who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

On Monday, November 2, we’re asking our entire Dragon family and the Swartz Creek community to wear YELLOW to show Zach and his family just how much support surrounds them!

Students, staff, families, alumni, local businesses, and neighbors… let’s come together for Zach! 💛

Wear yellow, snap a picture, and share it on social media with !

One Student. One District. One Community. 🐉💛

Learning was a WILD CARD in fifth grade at Gaines Elementary today!

Gaines staff members dressed as UNO cards, bringing a little extra fun to the school day.

Meanwhile, in Ms. Bishop’s classroom, students were busy building STEM projects and practicing candy corn math.
