Our White Cane Walk is Coming up on November 7, and we're almost at our goal of $75,000 - can you help us reach it?! Your donation helps us continue to provide free services and programs for blind and low vision individuals. These programs make such a difference. One recent client said, "They have made me more confident so that I'm able to continue to live an active life even with my visual condition. It has given me a sense of freedom that I can do more than I thought I could do."

So please mark your calendars and join us at Macfarlane Park. And if you can help us reach this goal, please visit https://www.lighthouseblv.org/2026-white-cane-walk/ and designate the White Cane Walk. You could also send us a check with a memo - White Cane Walk! Everyone is welcome to come and there's no charge for admission.

Thank you for your support!

Not every blind or low vision individual can have their eyesight corrected by eye surgeries or corrective lenses. But they are still able to live an independent life. At Lighthouse for the Blind & Low Vision we teach adaptive skills through every stage of life, from infancy to the elderly. This gives them skills for school with sighted peers, provides the opportunity to remain or become employed in a competitive work environment, and to remain self-sufficient in the home and the community. These classes are provided for free and make a lifelong difference in the lives of blind and low vision individuals. Learn more here: www.lighthouseblv.org
