🎨❤️ Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at EGES!

Our students across every grade level celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month through beautiful, creative artwork honoring our cultures, traditions, and heritage! 🌎✨

We are proud to celebrate the rich diversity that makes our school community so special. Through art, our students have the opportunity to express themselves, learn about their roots, and appreciate the traditions that bring us together. ❤️💛💚

As well as the beautiful Ofrenda that our 3rd/4th Grade students and teachers created honoring their loved ones who have passed. 🌼🧡✨

A beautiful celebration of culture, creativity, and community! 🖌️🎉

Pre-K 4Y 🎃 Ms. Felice & Ms. Bethany

Our EGES Pre-K students got into the Halloween spirit with a hands-on pumpkin carving experience! From exploring the pumpkins’ textures, colors, seeds, and insides to observing how they are transformed into fun jack-o’-lanterns, our little learners had the opportunity to learn through exploration, curiosity, and discovery. 🎃✨

This engaging activity supports New Mexico Early Learning Standards by encouraging critical thinking, language development, fine-motor skills, creativity, and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning. 🍁✨

In Pre-K, even the simplest seasonal activities can become meaningful learning experiences! We love watching our students explore, ask questions, use their imaginations, and make new discoveries every day. 🧡

Learning is sweeter when it’s a little messy and a whole lot of fun!

Mrs. Randall’s 2nd-grade class at Enos Garcia Elementary is experiencing the power of a shared read! Through reading together, students are building fluency, strengthening comprehension, expanding vocabulary, and developing a deeper understanding of the text.

Shared reading provides students with opportunities to think critically, share ideas, make connections, and learn from one another. By engaging with a text as a classroom community, our young readers are growing in confidence and discovering that reading is even more powerful when we learn together! 📖✨

We are proud of our little Tigers as they continue to build strong literacy skills and a lifelong love of reading. Every page brings a new opportunity to learn and grow!

Our little scientists in Mrs. Oliva’s Pre-K class are exploring the wonders of fall through a hands-on science experience with pumpkins!

Through observation, exploration, and discovery, our young learners are building curiosity, asking questions, and learning about the characteristics of pumpkins. These engaging experiences help students develop early science skills while making meaningful connections to the world around them.

At Enos Garcia Elementary, we believe that learning is most meaningful when students can touch, explore, investigate, and discover for themselves!

Way to go, little Tigers! Keep exploring, questioning, and growing!

Our Enos Garcia Tigers had an amazing time enjoying The NED Show with our fantastic host, Zach! 🪀✨ Students were engaged, entertained, and inspired as they learned important lessons about kindness, perseverance, and making positive choices.

Through the NED message, our students were reminded to Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best! These powerful lessons reinforce the values we strive to build every day at Enos Garcia Elementary.

A huge thank-you to Zach for bringing energy, enthusiasm, and an inspiring message to our school! We love seeing our Tigers learn, laugh, and grow together. 🧡🖤

🐯🧡 **Enos Garcia Elementary’s First House Selection Assembly!** 🖤🐯

What an exciting day at Enos Garcia Elementary! 🎉 Our Tigers came together for our **first-ever House Selection Assembly**, launching an exciting new tradition built on school spirit, teamwork, leadership, and belonging!

Our students were welcomed into one of our **five houses**, each representing a proud New Mexico college and university! 🎓🏆

⚡ **IAIA Thunderbirds**\
🐾 **ENMU Greyhounds**\
🤠 **NMHU Cowboys**\
🏇 **NMSU Aggies**\
🐺 **UNM Lobos**

Each house represents an opportunity for our students to build friendships, demonstrate positive character, support one another, and take pride in being part of something bigger than themselves. Through friendly competition and shared experiences, our Tigers will learn the importance of teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and perseverance.

We are excited to watch our students represent their houses with pride, encourage their teammates, and create lasting memories throughout the school year. This is just the beginning of something special at Enos Garcia!

**Five Houses. One Tiger Family. Endless Possibilities!** 🐯🧡🖤
