🎃 Before the trick-or-treating begins, a very important reminder from TPS: All peanut butter cups collected tonight must be turned over to the Superintendent of Schools.

We recently learned that the Mayor shares the Superintendent’s favorite candy, so TPS will forward a portion of the collection to the Mayor’s Office.

Thank you for your cooperation. 😉 Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Our students aren’t the only ones getting into character! 🎃

Martin Middle School staff brought Toy Story to life, Chamberlain Elementary’s guidance team embraced their emotions with Inside Out, and Bennett Elementary’s lunch/recess assistants found costume inspiration close to home—as their principal and assistant principal!

Meanwhile, central office traveled through the decades, from the groovy ’60s to ’90s grunge and early-2000s tracksuits. Naturally, a few fictional bands—and their debut album covers—came out of the day. Swipe through for their first releases. 💿

THS students are taking the lead to help feed local families—and they need your help to fill a bus!

Support their Project 351 food drive by bringing donations to Taunton High School on November 3, from 7–10 a.m., in front of the THS Field House at 50 Williams Street.

Students are especially seeking shelf-stable, microwavable foods, including mac and cheese, rice, soup, pasta, oatmeal, and instant meals. All donations must be nonperishable.

Thank you to Bloom Bus for providing the bus!

Pick up a few extra items on your next grocery trip and help our students turn a bus into a delivery of support for local families.

He wasn’t the only familiar face at today’s Character Parade! Our preschoolers and staff brought some of their favorite storybook characters to life.

A little “Wicked” inspiration for our young artists! 💚

Taunton High School visual arts students recently attended Wicked at the Citizens Opera House in Boston. For many, it was their first time experiencing a Broadway musical—and they were in awe!

The evening gave students a chance to see storytelling, music, costumes, and set design come together on stage, offering plenty of inspiration for their own creative work.

Thank you to Rodman for Kids for providing tickets for our students and chaperones!
